Last night the Kings took on the Raptors and although they fell short, it was Jimmer Fredette who once again stepped up to the plate for the Kings. Jimmer led the team in scoring with 19 points and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. In the four Summer League games thus far, Jimmer has averaged 17.8 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 3 assists per game. Not bad for a guy who barely showed up last season. While the Kings were able to outscore the Raptors in the fourth, they were just a little too late as they lost 96-89. Tonight the Kings, who are now 1-3 in Summer League, will take on the 6-1 Boston Celtics who are looking to continue their hot streak.
