ESPN.com is reporting a possible trade between Sacramento fan-favorite Omri Casspi and Cavs power forward J.J. Hickson. Looking at stats, this seems like a good trade. Hickson is young and has consistently been improving over his past three seasons with the Cavs in the NBA. In the 2010-2011 season he averaged 13.8 PPG, 8.7 rebounds and 28 MPG. Casspi on the other hand has been consistent for the Kings, but in his two NBA seasons has decreased his PPG, MPG, APG and RPG. Seeing as the Kings are full of bad decisions, I am hopeful that this trade may be the light at the end of the tunnel. Sure, I'll miss shabbat dinners with Omri, but lets remember the ultimate goal- to keep the Kings in Sacramento for good! L'Chaim!
