Although the Kings are 2-3 in Summer League, we need to give credit where credit is deserved. Enter Jimmer Fredette and Thomas Robinson. Two guys who have stepped up to the plate and taken care of business. In the Kings most recent 91-82 win against the Boston Celtics, Jimmer led the Kings in both scoring (19 points) and assists (5). Robinson added a double-double of his own with 15 points and 16 rebounds. I’d say pretty impressive for a rookie and one-year veteran.

Based on the stats alone, it seems like the Kings shouldn’t be struggling with rebounding this year. The Kings combined for a total of 52 rebounds against the Celtics who were only able to pull down 36 boards.  Of the Kings 52 total rebounds, 11 were offensive.  It finally seems like the Kings are getting it together defensively although only time will tell.
